LEVI  ATKINSON





Levi Atkinson is a multimedia artist living in Los Angeles. He is a graduate from Carleton College double majoring in Studio Art and Art History with a focus in printmaking. His practice explores memory, manipulation, and human relationships with the idea of place. He incorporates an experimental approach to the process through selective hand printing, collaging, and varying printing surfaces (carved wood, found materials, textured plexiglass, etc). 


In additon to havign his own practice Levi has worked as a Collaborative printmaker and Art Historian in a variety of professional contexts including: Gemini GEL, Highpoint Center for Printmaking, Minneapolis Institute of Art, Art Institute of Chicago, the Russell Wright Design Center
